Promote Africa is proud to welcome Ms. Kathryn Kruskamp as our new Director of International Programs. Kate, a native of Snellville, Georgia, graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a B.A. in Anthropology. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at UGA’s School of Public and International Affairs, concentrating on non-profit management.


In her role as International Programs Director, Kate is responsible for our international internship programs, including the coordination of visas, transportation, accommodations, insurance and site placement for all of our interns going abroad. Kate brings her non-profit background, energy and smile to our small, dedicated staff. We look forward to working with you Kate! We are extremely proud to be able to announce that we have signed a development partnership with the Namibian Community Skills Development Foundation (COSDEF). COSDEF, funded by the Namibian Training Authority, conducts vocational training initiatives in eight disadvantaged Namibian communities.

This is a major step for us, as we will soon be supplementing development efforts with financial and human resources! This partnership will allow us to build relationships in these areas while assisting in the development effort. Please check back soon to learn more as we continue to build this partnership. Thanks!
